  • Zellar is a digital sustainability coaching platform that EPL has partnered with to streamline the process of reporting carbon emissions for suppliers. Zellar provides a user-friendly platform for suppliers to calculate, track, and reduce their emissions.

  • The Premier League has made it free for 50 clubs to join Zellar for the first year. After that clubs will need to purchase a new licence to continue to track their savings and emissions on Zellar.

  • Using Zellar offers several benefits for suppliers, including:

    • Cut energy costs – track and reduce energy use from lighting, heating, and facilities.

    • Measure your impact – calculate your club’s carbon footprint automatically from real data.

    • Unlock funding opportunities – demonstrate progress to access future grants and support. And signal back to the Premier League to help shape future funding strategy.

    • Show leadership – share verified results with your league, community, and supporters.

    • Save time and effort – manage everything in one easy-to-use platform without needing consultants.

  • If you are successful in joining the first phase of 50 clubs you will receive onboarding details.

    Clubs will then complete an online onboarding exercise that helps them to automatically calculate their emissions across buildings and travel emissions. As well as the impact of their floodlights - and any associated cost savings.

    Once that’s completed clubs have access to the Zellar platform's tools and resources to continue to calculate, track, and reduce their carbon emissions over the next 12 months.

  • Anyone that registers and doesn’t make the first phase will be contacted once the next phase opens.
